NCDC Announces 58 New Coronavirus Cases – Lowest Daily Figure Recorded Since April
Nigeria has recorded its lowest daily record of coronavirus infections in the last seven months with 58 new cases announced Sunday, October 4.
The lowest caseload recorded in Nigeria since the inception of the pandemic was 38 infections on April 20.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) gave a breakdown of where the new cases were reported via its official Twitter handle, stating;

It would be recalled that on Saturday, there were 59,287 total cases, 50,718 discharged and 1,113 fatalities across the country.
The newly recorded infections has now put total COVID-19 cases at 59,345, 50,768 discharged and 1,113 fatalities across the country.
In addition, overall samples tested nationwide, have increased from 532,765 to 535,773, according to NCDC‘s October 3 situation report.
