NCDC Confirms 474 New COVID-19 Cases, 132 Discharged, 2 Deaths
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has on Wednesday, December 9 confirmed 474 new coronavirus cases, 132 discharged patients, 2 deaths.
The announcement was made via the agency’s official twitter handle with the cases detected in 16 states.
The breakdown of the new cases is as follows; FCT-180, Lagos-134, Kebbi-45, Adamawa-26, Plateau-16, Enugu-14, Taraba-14, Gombe-12, Nasarawa-8, Yobe-8, Rivers-5, Ogun-5, Kwara-2, Ekiti-2, Sokoto-2 and Osun-1.

It would be recalled that Nigeria recorded 70, 195 coronavirus cases, 65,110 discharged and 1,182 deaths.
With the newly recorded toll, there are now 70,669 total cases, 65,242 discharged and 1,184 fatalities across the country.
Also, Nigeria has so far tested over 800,000 of its 200 million population for the virus.
