Lagos state government has on Tuesday, March 9 received its share of Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
The development was made known today by Gboyega Akosile, Chief Press Secretary to the state governor via his Twitter page.
Akosile prayed that the world should see the end of the coronavirus disease soon, saying;
Arrival of #COVID19 vaccines. We’re making progress. The world will see the end of the pandemic. Good morning Lagos.
Lagos state has now become the second state to take delivery of the vaccines after Ogun state.
