‘She Is A Mother To Me’ – Yinka Alaseyori Breaks Silence After Tope Alabi Criticised Song ‘Oniduro Mi’ (Video)
Gospel singer, Yinka Alaseyori has finally broken her silence 5 days after colleague, Tope Alabi criticised her song.
It would be recalled that last week, Tope Alabi at a church programme while ministering at a vigil in the early hours of Saturday, June 12 criticised a term Alaseyori used in hailing God surfaced online.
Alaseyori, among other gospel singers, have waxed records where they referred to God as ‘Oniduro Mi’.
Tope Alabi said the word ‘Oni duro mi’ which means ‘Guarantor’ cannot be used to describe God, saying the Holy Spirit cautioned her against singing the song.

Following circulation of Tope Alabi speaking about the song in a video, many Nigerians including celebrities slammed the singer with some claim she is envious of the popularity of the song.
Amid the continued criticism from all sides, Lanre, who did not hide his feelings against Tope Alabi during an event over the weekend, also mocked the singer for also using ‘unscriptural’ names to describe God.
Reacting after several days, Yinka said Tope Alabi is a mother to her and others, she then asked people to centre God in their worship.
She said;
Let Jesus take the wheel. Mummy Tope Alabi is our mother. She is a mother to me and so many and by virtue, we have been blessed by her ministry.
Please and please, let us worship God, let us celebrate God, let Jesus be at the centre of it all.
