Nigeria’s D’Tigers Honors Sound Sultan Before Pre-Olympics Match Against Australia (Videos)
Nigeria’s D’Tigers, on Wednesday, paid tribute to late music legend, Sound Sultan, by donning a white shirt with a picture of his face imprinted on it before their pre-Olympic game against Australia.
They also observed a minute silence for Sound Sultan before the game against Australia.

Sound Sultan, who died on Sunday July 11 after a battle with lung cancer, was a basketball enthusiast during his lifetime.
The team had earlier dedicated their victory against Argentina and the United States to the late singer.

Sadly, Australia’s Boomers defeated Nigeria with 39 points. The Boomers had a total of 108 points while Nigeria had 69.
Meanwhile, Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) dedicated D’Tigers victories over Team USA and Argentina to Sound Sultan.
