Wizkid Refutes Claim Of Being Leader Of The New School

Wizkid in an interview published by NotJustOk revealed that he is not the leader of the ‘new school’.

Speaking during the session, the talented singer who turned 32 today, Saturday, July 16 stated that he only creates music to inspire people and the coming generation.

He singer added that he is currently playing his part in the music industry and contributing to the development of Africa.

Wizkid also said he is making conscious efforts to produce Afrocentric sounds and inculcate the pan-Africanism into every other aspect of his life.

The Starboy Entertainment founder stated that he wants to live a legacy that will never be forgotten even when he is gone.

He also said that there has never been any artiste that has taken African music to the pinnacle and he wants to achieve that.
