Jack Dorsey, Former Twitter CEO Unveils New Platform, Bluesky
Jack Dorsey has announced that his new platform, Bluesky is in it’s beta phase.
The former CEO and co-founder of the microblogging site, Twitter disclosed that the new app, which is in its testing stage, already has over 30,000 people signed up for its beta testing within two days of the announcement.
This happened just a week after business tycoon and owner of Tesla cars, Elon Musk, took over ownership of Twitter.

According to Business Insider, Bluesky’s website stated that the new platform gives creators independence from platforms and developers and the freedom to design, allowing users to choose their experience.
Dorsey co-founded Twitter 17 years ago and briefly served as its CEO. He returned as CEO from 2015 to 2021 when he resigned.
Meanwhile, Bluesky has announced a number of job openings which include mobile application developer, react native expert, animation creator, and UI site manager.
Jack Dorsey Reacts To Downsizing Of Twitter Staff By New Management
Following the acquisition of the microblogging site, Twitter by foremost billionaire, Elon Musk, several notable individuals and staff of the organization have been fired. This also includes Parag Agrawal who served as the CEO of the organization from November 2021 to October 2022.
In a Saturday tweet, Dorsey took responsibility for Musk cutting thousands of jobs during his first week of owning the social-media site.
He had this to say;
“Folks at Twitter past and present are strong and resilient. They will always find a way no matter how difficult the moment. I realize many are angry with me. I own the responsibility for why everyone is in this situation: I grew the company size too quickly. I apologize for that.”
Dorsey went on to express his gratitude for Twitter employees in a follow-up tweet soon after.
“I am grateful for, and love, everyone who has ever worked on Twitter. I don’t expect that to be mutual in this moment…or everand I understand,” he wrote.
