Aloy Ejimakor, the Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has reacted as President Muhammadu Buhari extended the naira swap by 60 days.
Ejimakor said by extending the naira swap, Buhari should respect the court pronouncements that ordered the release of Kanu.

In a chat with DAILY POST, Ejimakor said;
In extending the Naira swap by 60 days, Buhari said ‘As an administration that respects the rule of law, I have noted that the matter is before the courts and some pronouncements have been made.’
Mr. President, what about respecting the pronouncements on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu?
Recall that Buhari approved the restoration of the old N200 notes as legal tender.
Buhari gave the directive during his nationwide broadcast on Thursday morning.

The President stated;
I have approved to the CBN that the old N200 note to allowed along with the new N200 notes for 60 days from February 10 to April 20, when the old N200 note ceases to be legal tender.
However all the old N500 and N1,000 note remain redeemable at any CBN branch.
