Burna Boy Reacts To AKA’s Demise, Regrets Not Reconciling With Him
Nigerian recording artiste, Burna Boy whose real name is Damini Ogulu has expressed shock at the demise of South African rapper, AKA.
It would be recalled that the South African rapper whose real name is Kiernan Jarryd Forbes shot on Friday night, February 10 at a restaurant in Durban, South Africa.
On Thursday, 16th February 2023, Burna Boy took to his Instagram story to share his shock at the death of South African rapper AKA who was killed in Durban South Africa on his birthday.

Burna Boy described the news as shocking and sad as it took him out of a positive mood. Burna Boy went further to say that while he wasn’t cordial with AKA, he never wanted him dead.
“WTF is all of that about? I just heard he died, seen that video at that restaurant. Took me out of a positive mood/ Took me back to that day when you saw my gun and you said I was wild/ Then I told you you should have one too,” he wrote.
The ‘Last Last’ singer also referenced his long running-feud with the rapper and stated that despite their differences, he never wanted him dead.

“But I didn’t want you dead, it was like that with me and you, have one too/ Cuz it weren’t like niggaz wasn’t dying but I thought you knew/ And I ain’t really f**k with you/
“Wicked! I hope they catch whoever did you wicked/ I hope you rest in peace, even though we ain’t kick it/ At the end of the day we some grown ass ni**az,” he continued.

The South African artiste was shot dead in a drive-by attack at a restaurant in Durban, South Africa. His longtime friend, Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, was also killed in the shooting.
