Davido Confirms Married Status As Speculations Swirl On Wife’s Identity (VIDEO)

Nigerian recording artiste, David Adeleke who is better known as Davido, has confirmed that he is married.

Davido confirmed this in an interview with media personality, Kiekie on Wednesday.

The ‘assurance’ crooner who took a break from social media after he lost his son, Ifeanyi, said he needed to reflect.

The singer-songwriter had this to say, “I have never ever taken this kind of break. Just being away and I have had a lot to think about. It was a time to rest, reflect, a lot of family time, time to make music again.

“I remade the album. Before I went on the break I actually had an album already. Had a tour already, but we did the album, I travelled, I am married.”

It would be recalled that earlier in the year, MDB revealed that the singer’s Wikipedia page now reflects his new marital status and his wife’s name.

The singer paid Chioma’s bride price (Umunna) in full at Ezeala Odu, Imo State, on Thursday, January 5.

Also confirming their marriage in a trending video on social media, Chioma’s father could be seen performing the Umunna and Umuada rites on Thursday.
