Member of the All Progressive Congress and spokesperson of the Tinubu Shettima presidential campaign council, Dele Alake has waded in on the allegation that the APC is bullying free press.
Alake, while speaking in a recent interview stated why the APC and its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu avoided some media stations, most especially, stations like Arise Tv.
He said Tinubu can’t grant an interview on the station because one of the presenters, Reuben Abati was a PDP member.

He said the same Abati who is now linking the president-elect to a drug case campaigned as the deputy of an indicted and wanted drug person.

He said
“How do you expect Asiwaju of the APC to present himself to a PDP machine and a station anchored by a PDP member, Reuben Abati?”
He continued,
“Who does that?
They should stop saying now that they are fighting for a free press.
Don’t forget he was the deputy governorship candidate to the late Buruji Kashamu in Ogun State who was a PDP member.
