Controversial Nigerian artiste, Olawale Ashimi also known as Brymo, has set the social media world ablaze after his confessions about propositioning Simi regarding a feature on one of his albums.
Simi, also an artiste is the wife of Adekunle Gold; the two often described as the power couple of Nigerian music.

In a post out of the blues on Friday, Brymo revealed that he felt remorse for making such demands on Simi, while clarifying that he did not know she was in a relationship with Gold, at the time.
He also stated that he made a similar request of Efya.
Brymo tweeted, “There’s a part of me that wants to feel remorse for my requirement for a collaboration with the talented Simi.. yet I am reminded that I was indeed, and honestly seeking to experience the outcome of making music with a female act I was bedding.. I proposed same to Efya too then..”

In a follow-up tweet, in response to a Twitter user who suggested to Gold that Brymo ought to have been featured in the former’s upcoming album.
Brymo said, “..though AG reached out later, I like to think that he didn’t check in again, by will or fate because I turned down same request many years before…I also did same with Simi… said I wanted to get intimate to create intensity..
“I didn’t know they were together of course.”
