Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Finally Resolve To Settle Disputes Privately
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie won’t be playing their divorce out in the media anymore.
The couple, whose messy split has been ongoing for months, promised that they’ll keep their family drama to themselves — and in front of a private judge.
“The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues,” they said in a statement Monday night. “The parents are committed to act as a united front to effectuate recovery and reunification.”
The “Maleficent” actress filed for divorce in September, citing irreconcilable differences, according to court documents obtained by the Daily News.
The couple have been fighting publicly over custody of their six children — Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8 — since then.
