Osaze Odewingie Seals Move To Indonesian Club [Photos]
Nigerian player Osaze Odemwingie has officially joined Indonesian club side Madura United as a marquee player of the 2017 League 1 season.
After signing a pre-contract agreement with the club, Madura United have officially announced the signing of the former Nigeria international.
“Welcome, Peter Osaze Odemwingie!” Madura United wrote on their Twitter along with a photograph of a club shirt with Odemwingie’s name on it.
Details have not been revealed about the deal.
The 35-year-old was unveiled at a ceremony in Jakarta on Monday, April 3 where the President of the club Achsanul Qosasi and the club manager Haruna Sumitro presented the former Super Eagles star to club fans.
He was seen in a video posted on Madura United Twitter handle greeting fans of his new club in Indonesian.
His former club, Stoke City also wished him good luck on his new adventure in Indonesia.

“Good luck to former Potter @OdemwingieP who has joined Indonesian side @MaduraUnitedFC #SCFC,” the Premier League club wrote on Twitter.
Osaze kicked off his career in Benin with Bendel Insurance before moving to La Louvière in Belgium before stints at Lille, Lokomotiv Moscow, West Bromwich Albion, Cardiff City, Stoke City, Bristol City (loan) and Rotherham United.
He has 63 caps for the Super Eagles where he scored 10 goals.
