The deceased, Abulganiyu
Abulganiyu Lawal, a 42 year old OAP has been shot dead while hunting in Araromi-Oke, Ekiti State . Sadly however, the killer is still yet to be identified.
The incident occurred on Thursday night, along Apepe farm settlement in Araromi-Oke. It was gathered that the deceased, after holding a meeting with his hunter friends decided to go into the bush to hunt and promised to be back before 10pm but he didn’t return and his friends and relatives became worried.
All efforts to call him proved abortive and the matter was reported at Ilasa Police station. His body was later discovered along the bush by villagers heading to the farm on Friday morning and the deceased has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
He is survived by a wife and 3 children.
