The viral of photo of Idris Ajimobi, son of Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, kissing and grabbing the boobs of his wife, Fateema Ganduje, daughter of Kano State Governor, Umar Ganduje, at their wedding last weekend in Kano, has continued to generate controversy, as Kano State’s former Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso also reacted to the wedding event which President Buhari, APC National leader, Bola Tinubu, 22 State governors, among many others attended.
Former Governor Kwankwaso who described the duo as ‘zawarawa’ which means ‘non-virtuous’ couple, while addressing his supporters in Kaduna on Saturday, said only few people are happy with the marriage.
Daily Nigerian reports that he said;
“Only few people are happy with the marriage of a single zawarawa because they are just one. We heard the eastern, the western, the southern and the northern entry points to Kano are all shut for the marriage of a single ‘zawarawa’ couple.
“This shows a sharp departure from the Kwankwasiyya ideology in Kano State. Today, Kano was at a standstill because of this marriage.
“We also heard a lot of people from other places that are less busy have abandoned their duties to attend the wedding. I also heard this event involving a single couple has made lot of people doing their legitimate businesses remain indoors.
“All these show difference between honesty and dishonesty, between light and darkness, between mass wedding of a thousand couple and that of a single couple,” he said.
We reported yesterday, that Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s media consultant, Na-Allah Mohammed Zagga, called out Hisbah Police, over the wedding photo of Oyo State Governor’s son Idris Ajimobi kissing and fondling his new wife, Fateema Ganduje’s boobs, which went viral last weekend.
According to Na-Allah Mohammed Zagga who asked Hisbah Police to punish the couple too, the Islamic police cannot live by double standards without ultimately losing its credibility.
