Ace Nigerian actor Ramsey Noah, is the latest Nigerian celebrity to be impersonated on social media by a fraudulent character, and he has raised an alarm.
Taking to his Instagram to notify his fans of the impersonation move by some fraudulent people, Ramsey Noah said he is currently in Dubai but his impersonator claims he is in Nigeria on a movie set in Lagos.
Here’s what he wrote;
IMPOSTOR ALERT!
Someone has been impersonating me for months now! I don’t understand how my colleagues and others did not find this out asap and continued to work with the fraud. I am out here in #Dubai but he’s currently on a movie set in Lagos filming with a director that I thought knew me well!

This is coming few weeks after we reported that operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), arrested one Osigbovo from Benin, Edo State who had reportedly been impersonating Nollywood actor, Mike Ezuruonye.
The arrest of the suspect came after Mike Ezuruonye, petitioned the police over impersonators who have been running down his brand by duping unsuspecting fans. A source who confirmed the report said;
Today, one of the alleged culprits was apprehended by the EFCC. The suspect is identified as Osigbovo from Benin, Edo State.
He is currently in the custody of EFCC for collecting large sums of money from female fans of the actor. He allegedly used Ezuruonye’s image and videos and superimposed his own voice to deceive these women.
Mike Ezuruonye had before the arrest of his impersonator, been accused of being a wicked and fraudulent by one of his followers. She claimed that Mike is not just a wicked person but also a robber.
