“The Lady Lied” – Taxify Reveals As It Debunks Assault Accusations Against One Of Its Driver
Renown Cab App Taxify has debunked accusations made by a lady who claimed on Saturday that she was robbed and assaulted by one of its drivers.
The Lady’s story was posted on Instagram by a user identified as Adebola Isaac, a good Samaritan who found her bleeding and took her to the hospital.
In an official statement released by Taxify today, the company suggests that the Lady may have been involved in an assault incident but tried to pin it on company. Taxify says contrary to her claims, the last time the lady requested a ride on the app was four days ago, October 23, 2018.
