American singer, Pink has recovered from Coronavirus after testing positive to the virus few weeks ago.
The 40-year-old talked about her health status on Friday in an Instagram post, sharing a throwback photo of herself and her three-year-old son, Jameson alongside a lengthy caption.
The grammy award winning singer, whose real name is Alecia Moore, in her post implored people to follow the rules and stay home.
She said she had tested positive after herself and Jameson had started showing symptoms, adding that;
Two weeks ago my three-year old son, Jameson, and I are were showing symptoms of COVID-19.
Fortunately, our primary care physician had access to tests and I tested positive.
The “Just Give Me A Reason” singer revealed that she has now tested negative after following her doctor’s instructions for two weeks, saying that;
My family was already sheltering at home and we continued to do so for the last two weeks following the instruction of our doctor.
Just a few days ago we were re-tested and are now thankfully negative.
The singer in her Instagram caption further stated that;
I am donating $500,000 to the Temple University Hospital Emergency Fund in Philadelphia in honor of my mother, Judy Moore who worked there for 18 years in the Cardiomyopathy and Heart Transplant Center.
Additionally, I am donating $500,000 to the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Emergency COVID-19 Crisis Fund.
Pink is currently isolating in her home with husband Carey Hart, and their two children, Willow and Jameson.
More than one million people around the world have been infected by the virus, with death toll in the U.S rising to over 7,000.
