Lagos Confirms Death Of 36-Year-Old Coronavirus Patient
Commissioner for health in Lagos state, Akin Abayomi, has confirmed the death of a Coronavirus patient, it emerged on Sunday.
According to a tweet from the commissioner, the victim is a 36-year-old male, who died at a private facility in Lagos on Saturday.

It is, however, unclear if this death case reported by Professor Abayomi is the same referred to by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) while announcing 10 new cases and one death in the country earlier on Sunday.
Two persons have now died from COVID-19 complications in Lagos, which has the highest number of confirmed cases,
The first death case in Lagos was a 55-year-old man who died on April 3, 2020.
According to Abayomi, as of 11:20 am on April 5, the state has 87 active cases, two deaths, two evacuated and 24 discharged.
