Eight New Coronavirus Cases Confirmed In Nigeria
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed eight new cases of Coronavirus in the country.
According to a tweet from the centre on Sunday evening, there are 5 cases reported in Lagos, 2 in the FCT and 1 in Kaduna State.
NCDC also revealed there is a total of 33 Coronavirus patients in Nigeria that have fully recovered from the virus and have been discharged.

In a following tweet, the centre stated that there are now 232 confirmed cases in Nigeria with Lagos having 120 cases, FCT- 47, Osun- 20, Oyo- 9, Edo- 9, Bauchi- 6, Akwa Ibom- 5, Kaduna- 5, Ogun- 4, Enugu- 2, Ekiti- 2 and one case each in Rivers, Benue and Ondo state.

Meanwhile, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos state on Sunday announced that five more Coronavirus patients were discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) in Lagos.
He added that the patients comprise of two males and three females including a 10 year old girl who have all tested negative twice to Coronavirus.
According to the Governor’s tweet, a total of 29 patients have fully recovered and have been discharged to reunite with their families.
