The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has again been conferred with the traditional title of “Kaeh-rit” (meaning “the good seed of Ampang East”) in Plateau State.

Speaking after the ceremony, which took place in Kanke Local Government Area on Saturday, Yilwatda said he was learning politics from President Bola Tinubu, whom he described as “one of the best politicians you can learn from.”

“I’m learning from the best leader, Asiwaju Tinubu. Mr President is one of the best politicians you can learn from, and since adopting me as his son, I’ve learned so much from him.

“He is teaching me, and so I’m learning. If you see me succeeding, it’s because I’m learning from the very best politician ever produced in Nigeria. So why not? I will work towards achieving what he has done also, being one of the best politicians in Nigeria,” Yilwatda said.

He also donated ₦10 million, seedlings and other farm inputs to farmers in Kanke Local Government Area to boost food security, in line with President Tinubu’s efforts to enhance food production and reduce poverty.

Yilwatda expressed optimism about Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s recent defection to the APC, saying Plateau State would benefit from having government and party structures under one political platform.

He emphasised the APC’s inclusive membership policy, saying all members have equal rights within the party.
