A dramatic scene unfolded on a United Nigeria Airlines flight from Asaba, Delta State, to Lagos when Martins Otse (Verydarkman) and Freedom Atsepoyi (Mr Jollof) engaged in a physical fight midair. The incident was first reported by Facebook user Dr. Paul Ezikel, who posted footage of the altercation on Monday morning.

The confrontation is the latest escalation in a feud that has simmered for months on social media. VDM, known for his outspoken criticism, previously dragged Mr Jollof’s wife into their dispute, alleging she was romantically involved with internet fraudsters (“Yahoo boys”). This accusation deepened tensions between the two entertainers, leading to repeated verbal spats online.

Passengers on the flight witnessed the quarrel turn violent, with both men trading blows. In a video posted afterward, VDM confirmed the fight, boasting that he had “dealt with” Mr Jollof. He added in Pidgin English: “I don chop Jollof father for inside plane. He bite me, man wey de bite.”
