Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has publicly rebuked Lagos-based influencer Dami Foreign after he made remarks about her six-year-old son, Jamil, sparking a heated exchange on social media.
On Tuesday morning, Savage accused Foreign of pursuing a “paid agenda” to tarnish her image and condemned his decision to involve her child in online commentary.
The singer, visibly angered, invoked a Yoruba curse and warned the influencer against further references to her family.
Posting on her official X account, Savage wrote: “@TheDamiForeign you see that I never cared about your paid agenda to bring me down and you’ve been doing it for a long time. You talking about my child is crossing the line. Dami with my FULL CHEST e no go better for you. You even posted that you wanted me to die young…. Back to sender.I dare you to post anything about my child again and THIS WILL MOVE BEYOND TWITTER.”
Foreign responded swiftly, expressing surprise at the intensity of Savage’s reaction.
The clash follows a recent online spat in which he referred to the singer as “old,” a remark that had already stirred controversy among her fan base.
Savage’s supporters rallied behind her, praising her for drawing firm boundaries around family matters.
Many Nigerians online commended her stance, arguing that children should be off-limits in the country’s vibrant but often contentious digital space.
