It Rained Ice In Jos This Morning(Photos)

Residents of Jos in Plateau state this morning woke up to see that ice has fallen and covered their surroundings.

For those who reside in Jos, or have at one point or the other lived in the town, the site of ice falling may not be a big deal, but for other Nigerians who have never experienced such in the country it is.

Temperatures in Jos, popularly called J-town, the capital city of Plateau state can drop to as low as 10° because of its location which is at staggering elevation of about 1,238 metres or 4,062 feet high above sea level. This explains why ice, rather than rain regularly falls in the area, like it did today.
