President Buhari’s wife Aisha Buhari has finally proven Ekiti Governor Ayo Fayose wrong, by visiting the United States of America.

She arrived on Wednesday in Washington DC on a weeklong visit.

She is billed to attend a number of events in the area. Sources at the Nigerian Embassy in Washington DC said Mrs. Buhari arrived on a British Airways flight from London.

This is politics. They may have done their underground work to avert her arrest. I strongly believe there must be an Aisha Buhari who was connected to that harlibuton furore. But the question is, where is the Aisha ? That pseudo Aisha Buhari who cried out when this rumour began sure doesn’t exist. Let us keep watching as these drama kings and queens entertain the hoipolloi.

During her ten-day visit Mrs Buhari will attend a number of special events and visit several institutions. According to the official documents Mrs Buhari was expected to arrive America on August 1 but was held back by official delays in Nigeria.
