A photographer Oluwatosin Gbela has in a series of Tweet narrated how a bride whose wedding he covered yesterday was forced by over zealous Mountain of Fire-MFM officials to cut her hair before entering the church.
The incident according to Tosin happened at the Fagba branch of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Lagos. The brides hair according to the officials was ‘offending’ and against church rules because she attached human hair weave that wasn’t visible within her natural hair. She was also asked to wipe off her subtle make up.
But the said officials didn’t stop at the bride. They allegedly descended on the hairstylist for grumbling, saying that she needed ‘deliverance’ lol.

People are dragging them me said officials on social media and calling them hypocrites who take church laws into their hands.
For those familiar with MFM church rules, is anything wrong with this hairstyle? I think for the fact that her natural hair is what is visible, she should have been pardoned. But then again I do not attend MFM lol.

Everyone knows Mfm have a strict policy, and they are not ready to bend their rules for anybody. It’s the duty of the brides parents to get their daughter in line, if they insist she must have her wedding at Mfm.
It’s totally unfair to get the groom involved in the mess cos until they are pronounced man and wife, he have to abide by the inlaws wants and they want Mfm, and they get Mfm, and they are not even complaining, except for the pompous bride who was so stubborn and he’ll bent on disgracing her parent on the day every parent yarn for. She knows the rule, cos she and her groom must have received counselling before the marriage. After she intentionally broke the rules and regulations of the church, thinking she can escape it as long as she gets in the church, thinking the minister of God will let it go, but she thought wrong and she was well dealt with to send a message to others who may want to pull the same stunt in the future.
The church have a vision and mission statement. By the G.O, who recieved it from above and they don’t bend those rules and regulations for absolutely nobody…

If only all our policemen, senators, house of reps and other government officials were MFM members…. i can imagine how they’d smoke out ladies wearing butt pads and bra pads… i wonder if shoulder pads are allowed in church….
