No Life Lost As BRT Bus Goes Up In Flames On 3rd Mainland Bridge

As evidenced by some pictures floating on the online media, a BRT bus is seen to have burnt ferociously leaving only a skeletal framework when the fire was finally quenched.

This occurrence happened at the Gbagada axis on the Third mainland bridge yesterday morning. The great news however is that no one was injured and no life was lost.

Men of the Lagos State Emergency Response Unit, the Fire Service and LRU came to the rescue and saved the day of what could have been a disaster in the run-in to Christmas. The bus’ carcass was also consequently taken off the road in no time.
