Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 91 new cases of Coronavirus on Thursday night.
The centre made this known in a series of tweets, adding that 74 cases were reported in Lagos, 5 in Katsina, 4 in Ogun, 2 in Delta, 2 in Edo and one each in Kwara, Oyo, FCT and Adamawa.
It added that as at 11:25 pm 22nd April, there are 873 confirmed cases of coronavirus reported in Nigeria, 197 discharged patients and 28 deaths.

In a follow up tweet NCDC revealed the breakdown of the cases per state from the worst-hit state ( Lagos – 504) to least-hit states which are Benue, Anambra, Adamawa and Sokoto all with one case each.

According to the NCDC as at 11:25pm on Wednesday night, there are 873 confirmed cases of Coronavirus reported in Nigeria.
As at April 21st, there were 782 confirmed cases of Coronavirus reported in Nigeria, 197 discharged and 25 deaths.
Meanwhile, NCDC in its COVID-19 situation report for April 21st stated that 8,934 samples has been tested nationwide.
In other news, Kaduna state Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has recovered from Coronavirus after three weeks of being positive for the virus.
He made this known via his Twitter handle on Wednesday afternoon.
El Rufai described his experience in isolation as “strict medical regime”.
