Six Coronavirus Patients In Osun Allegedly Escape From Isolation Centre

Six persons, who tested positive for COVID-19 in Osun state, have allegedly escaped from an isolation centre in Ejigbo, a part of the state on Friday night.

According to Daily Trust, an official of Osun state government confirmed this on Saturday morning.

MDB had earlier reported that 127 Ivory Coast returnees came into Osun state last week through Ogun state, of which some of them tested positive to Coronavirus. 

According to an unofficial public announcement, the state has allegedly launched a manhunt for the six persons.

In a report by PulseNG, the announcement enlisted the names and phone numbers of the six infected persons;

However, as at press time, no official announcement have been made by Osun state government to confirm this report.
