Just In: NCDC Confirms 438 New COVID-19 Cases
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 438 new coronavirus cases on Saturday night.
This comes a day after the country’s total coronavirus exceeded the 38,000 mark.
NCDC in a tweet on Saturday has now announced;

On Saturday, there were 39,539 total cases, 16,599 recoveries and 845 death cases across the country.
With the latest toll, total cases have now increased to 39,977 with 16,948 recoveries and 856 casualties across the country.
Also, NCDC in its July 24, situation report has revealed that overall samples tested nationwide have increased from 256,038 to 259,516.
Meanwhile, NCDC has announced the inclusion of the Virology Laboratory at University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu state to the centre’s Molecular Laboratory Network.
With the new laboratory, there are now 50 laboratories in NCDC lab network with the capacity to test for COVID-19.
