Lady Advertised For Sale On Facebook, 28 Others Depart Lebanon For Nigeria
Peace Busari, a lady who was advertised for sale on Facebook by Wael Jerro, a Lebanese, has departed Lebanon and on her way back to Nigeria.
In April, MDB reported that the young lady was out up for sale in a Facebook group, ‘Buy and Sell in Lebanon,’ alongside a post written in Arabic, calling for buyers.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), ok Saturday stated that Ufuoma and 28 other Nigerians have boarded a flight heading for Nigeria.
She tweeted;
Finally! Coming home! Temitope, held behind by her employers and not allowed to board the last evacuation flight from Lebanon ,and Peace Busari, put up for sale on Facebook a few months back.

Dabiri-Erewa also thanked Houssam Diab, Lebanese ambassador to Nigeria for facilitating “a free flight for the 29 girls”.

Ufuoma was rescued after Jerro put her up for sale for $1000 on Facebook.

Jerro was arrested by the Lebanese government after the post sparked outrage on social media.
