Corpses of Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru and six other top military officers that died in Friday’s plane crash, have arrived in Abuja on Saturday for burial.
It would be recalled that 11 military officials, including plane crew died in a Beachcraft 350 aircraft that crashed at Kaduna International Airport on Friday.

According to Nigerian Army, only the remains of the late Chief of Army, and six other officials will be interred today.
Their bodies were received at Presidential Wing of Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja at about 11am.

Journalists were not allowed to take photographs as the bodies were lifted into ambulances.
They were later moved to National Mosque and Nigerian Air Force Protestant Church venues of funeral prayers amidst tight security.
