Nigerian rapper and singer, Anthony Ebuka Victor, better known as Victony, has for the first time since his car crash addressed fans and colleagues via social media on Thursday, May 13.
It would be recalled that the Victony was involved in the ghastly crash on on Sunday, April 25, 2021, as the singer and his friends were returning from music star, Oxlade‘s birthday party.
Unfortunately, the fatal accident claimed the life of a friend named Doyin, while 3 others survived, including Victony.

Speaking after almost three weeks, Victony went live on his Instagram page to thank his fans and colleagues who raised for him and donated to his GoFundMe account, which was set up to source for funds for his surgery.

He also mourned his friend, Doyin who died in the accident, saying he could have also lost his life in the unfortunate incident.
Victony added that at the moment, he is currently not walking but the doctors told him him to give it time, adding he will be leaving the hospital today, hoping to get better.

Earlier today, a statement released by KVLT on Twitter stated that the up-and-coming rapper is recovering from the surgery and has been taken out of Intensive Care Unit.
The statement partly reads;
We are pleased to announce that Vict0ny who on the 26th of April, 2021 was involved in a fatal car accident and sustained severe injuries/fractures has successfully undergone all surgeries and is currently recuperating. He has left the ICU and is in high spirits.

Victony is an 18-year-old Engineering undergraduate at Imo State University signed to MainlandBlockParty, owned by Tobi Mohammedalso known as Alhaji Popping.
The up-and-coming rapper released his EP, Saturn, in 2020 that features Falz.
