Ever wondered how much gifts a celebrity receives on his or her birthday? Well, South Korean star, Lee Min-ho has given a clue while celebrating his 33rd birthday today, Tuesday, June 22.
The widely loved actor, who acted in the recent romantic fantasy television series, “The King: Eternal Monarch”, posted on Instagram today three photos of himself in a room full of gifts and flowers.
He wrote, “Thank you everyone, U all made today a special day.”
Lee Min-ho was recently crowned the most-followed Korean actor across various social media platforms with a total of more than 65 million followers.
Fan clubs trended Happy Birthday Lee Min Ho on Twitter, with most of the fans including many Nigerians ladies sharing old photos of him and emotional birthday wishes.
Lee Min Ho made his debut in 2006 with Secret Campus, where he worked with ‘Park Bo Young’. He became an international sensation with the famous show ‘Boys Over Flowers’ and churned out some of the best hits.
He also acted in the popular 2013 show, ‘The Heirs’, where he played the role of Kim Tan, a member of a rich family, where he falls in love with Cha Eun-Sang, a role played by Park Shin-hye.
The South Korean actor had starred in other hit dramas such as City Hunter (2011) and Legend Of The Blue Sea (2016).
In April 2019, the 34-year-old, who completed his two years of mandatory military service, was one of the most popular actors in South Korea before his enlistment.
Lee Min-ho completed 15 years in the industry last month, and was last seen in ‘King: The Eternal Monarch’, which starred Kim Go Eun. The drama became one of the highest-rated shows of 2020, and he earned the Top Excellence Award for Best Actor in a miniseries in the fantasy/ romance drama category.
He has Pachinko in the pipeline. The series is based on the novel by Min Jin Lee. The drama also other South Korean movie stars like Jin Ha, Anna Sawai, Minha Kim, Soji Arai and Kaho Minami.
