Bakura: Two Abducted Zamfara College Staff, Student Escape
Two staff and one student who were among the kidnapped victims of College of Agriculture and Animal Science in Bakura, Zamfara state have escaped and returned to the college.
MDB earlier reported that gunmen abducted the students and teachers as confirmed by the college registrar, Aliyu Bakura, to BBC Hausa on Monday morning.

He said four persons, including a police officer and three gatemen, were killed in the attack, stressing;
Last Sunday night around 10pm they entered and opened fire and took away 15 students and a teacher and his wife and two children.
Mallam Aliyu added that the attackers were very numerous and climbed the wall and spent more than two hours in the school firing.
However, the latest development was made known by Deputy Provost of the College, Ali Atiku, while speaking to newsmen on Monday.
He said;
Two staff and one student escaped from the bandits after they kidnapped them and returned to the school early this morning.
As I am talking to you now, we have formally discovered that the bandits have kidnapped 15 students all of them male, three women and one person who are also our staff and killed two of our security watchmen.
The State Police command was yet to speak on the issue as of the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile, Provost of the College, Alhaji Habibu Mainasara, was one time kidnapped by bandits and released after paying ransom.
