New update have emerged regarding a Lagos driver who earlier today, 25th of February knocked a policeman off a bridge while trying to escape being arrested by LASTMA officials for driving against traffic.
MDB earlier reported how a policeman fell off a bridge after being hit by a driver trying to flee from the scene of defaulting traffic rules.
Jubril Gawat, Senior Special Assistant to Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has now given an update about the situation on Thursday afternoon via his Twitter page,
He revealed that the driver is currently in Police Custody and will be charged to court later this afternoon.
Gawat stressed that the vehicle of the suspect has been impounded and is in the custody of LASTMA.
However, the SSA said the Police officer that fell unfortunately broke his arm and is currently in critical condition.
